Overview

Board your private boat at Rabo de Peixe, one of the most unique fishing harbors in the Azores, and set off on an exclusive 2h30 experience just for you and your group. With a crew focused entirely on you, make your way past rugged lava cliffs, isolated coastal villages, and the famous Elephant Rock formation in Capelas, all at your own pace. Keep an eye out for local birdlife and flying fish along the way. When it's time for a swim, the captain will find a spot that's entirely your own, tucked into the volcanic coastline with no one else around. Then comes the absolute best part of the trip: the Mosteiros Islets. These giant volcanic rock formations rise straight out of the Atlantic. They look unlike anything else on the island, and you will get right up close to see them. Drinks and snacks on board throughout. Itinerary

Capelas Pass by

Capelas is a historic village on São Miguel’s north coast, once a hub for whale hunting. Today, it’s known for its volcanic coastline, old whaling station ruins, and strong ties to Azorean maritime life.

Mosteiros Pass by

Mosteiros is a picturesque village on São Miguel’s west coast, known for its black lava rocks, natural pools, and stunning sunsets. Its name comes from offshore islets that resemble a monastery.

You'll find the AG Expeditions kiosk at Rabo de Peixe Fishing Harbor, next to the Nautical Club of Rabo de Peixe. It's easy to spot thanks to its orange color, with the AG Expeditions logo clearly displayed and a flag at the entrance. This is also where your tour will begin.
