Tripix Azores has been leading guided climbs on Mount Pico since 2015, and our team has guided more than 10,000 climbers on Portugal’s highest mountain. Our professional local guides combine extensive knowledge of Mount Pico with continuous attention to weather conditions, terrain, group pace and individual well-being throughout the ascent. More than reaching the summit, the experience is about understanding the mountain you are climbing - its volcanic origins, geology, biodiversity and constantly changing conditions - while being guided by a professional local team working on Mount Pico year-round

To go to our Meeting Point, use only the main roads from Madalena, São Roque or Lajes. Avoid using Google Maps as some roads are not in use.

Additional Information
- Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries

- Travelers should have a high level of physical fitness
- Participants should not have gone diving 24 hours before the climb.
- It is mandatory to present yourself with proper mountain boots and equipment suitable for the activity. Failure to meet these requirements may result in exclusion from the climb, including by decision of the Mountain House, without the right to a refund
- All participants must be in good physical condition and have motor coordination. Please inform Tripix Azores of any physical restrictions, including issues with lower limbs, vertigo, mental health, heart problems, asthma, diabetes, pregnancy, or other health conditions.
