Tripix Azores has conducted guided climbs to the Peak Mountain since 2015 and our local professional team has already guided more than 10,000 participants on the highest mountain in Portugal. A night climb requires more than just knowing the route. Progressing on volcanic terrain during the night implies careful management of the pace, visibility, weather conditions and well-being of each participant throughout the ascension. Our guides work in the Peak Mountain all year round, combining local knowledge of the mountain with a constant attention to safety and changing conditions. Reaching Piquinho when the day begins to rise over the Atlantic is the moment that defines this experience - the reward after climbing the Peak Mountain overnight.

Travelers should have a high level of physical fitness

Participants should not have gone diving 24 hours before the climb.

It is mandatory to present yourself with proper mountain boots and equipment suitable for the activity. Failure to meet these requirements may result in exclusion from the climb, including by decision of the Mountain House, without the right to a refund

All participants must be in good physical condition and have motor coordination. Please inform Tripix Azores of any physical restrictions, including issues with lower limbs, vertigo, mental health, heart problems, asthma, diabetes, pregnancy, or other health conditions.
